What should you look for in a laptop cart?
Laptop carts should be durable.
All laptop carts from TechnologyWorkstand are comprised of welded steel with the secure hardware holding the components of the laptop cart together.
Every laptop cart should secure the laptop when not in use.
Each laptop cart has a locking drawer with a durable three-number combination lock. (With the exception of the 8000 Laptop Cart, which is mounted to the top of the cart with two security prongs. The mounting hardware also is not visible without first removing a lock that secures the lid to the shelf)
Wires should be managed on the laptop cart, with protection against power surges.
On each laptop cart we provide a 6 outlet surge protector with a 10' cord (20' available as an upgrade). This rids the end-user of the hassle of plugging each device in each time they want to use the cart.
The wheels on laptop carts should be easy to push and lock.
All our laptop carts have five swivel casters for easy maneuverability. Two of the five casters have brakes to keep the laptop cart stationary while in use.
The laptop cart should be adaptable to accommodate existing and future technology.
We have additional parts available for each of our laptop carts that allow you to accommodate devices such as speakers, monitors, document cameras, projectors, etc.
