Projector Tips
1) Keep your projector away from moisture, dust and smoke. These elements can cause damge to the image and drastically shorten your lamp life.
2) Avoid using your projector in environments with alternating temperatures.
3) Make sure nothing is covering the vents around the projector. To do so will cause overheating and shorten the lamp life dramatically.
4) Clean your projector lens with isopropyl alchohol OR or a photo lens cleaning solution. DO NOT use any other types of chemicals; they may be abrasive to the lens and cause lasting damage. Dampen a soft cloth with either solution and gently rub the lens in a circular motion. DO NOT spray the lens directly as the spray may come into contact with electrical components inside the unit.
Projector Troubleshooting
1)If there is no image showing, check to make sure the projector is on. Look for a light on the top of the projector. If there is no light indicating the power is on, push the power button. If that does not work, check to make sure the power cable is plugged in. If that fails, make sure the VGA cable is connected as well.
2) If the image is cut off, push auto image or image sync, and the image will readjust itself. If that does not solve the problem, check the projector's resolution in your manual, and change your computer's output resolution to match the projector.
